Wedding Event Contract

This contract (the “Agreement”) is made on this day of September 3, 2025 between Dj Buddy Bravo (Legal Name Eric S Bravo) (the “Dj + Host”) and STEPH ROGERS + CHARLOTTE WHITNEY (the “Client”) for the hiring of The Dj as independent contractors to perform (the “Event”) for Dj + Host at the Wedding Ceremony and Reception for the couple, to take place at Champagne Tiger / 601 E Colfax Ave, Denver, CO 80203 (the “Venue”). 

It is agreed as follows:
1. Place, date, and time of Show. The parties agree that the time and place of Event will be (The Venue), Sunday, September 14th, 2025, from 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm. The DJ agrees to arrive by 1:30 pm for Setup + preperation.

2. Description of Event. “Event” will be a DJ set with musical content decided by The Client + The Dj together. Ultimately, the song selection is determined by the DJ based on information provided by the client. The event will include hosting (introductions of the couple, guests, speeches, special dances, dinner, last call, etc.) Requests from guests will be considered and determined by the DJ. 

3. Request Deadline. The Client will provide all song requests and event details no later than Thur, Sept 11th, 2025 by 11:00pm.

4. Payment. Compensation for the Event will be $800.00. The DJ will also put out a tip jar / QR Code for additional compensation from guests at the event. A Deposit to save the date is 50% of the total (DEPOSIT IS $400).

5. Cancellation Policy. Since this event is within 14 business days of the the contract being written, there is not a cancellation option. Both the DJ and the CLIENT agree all terms are final. In the event the DJ cannot fulfill the obligations of this contract due to illness, a qualified replacement DJ will be provided and will complete the tasks per this contract and website have laid out according to conversations between the CLIENT and the DJ.

6. Sound and Equipment. The DJ is expected to be at the Venue no later than 90 minutes prior to the scheduled event. Dj is responsible for allowing adequate time for proper set-up and sound-check. The DJ is required to bring all sound amplification, monitors, mixers, lights, microphones, batteries, chords/cables needed for production. The client/venue is expected to provide easy access to a sufficient power supply for the equipment.

7. Security, Health, and Safety. The client warrants that Venue will be of sufficient size to safely conduct Event, that Venue is of stable construction and sufficiently protected from weather, and that there will be adequate security and/or emergency medical responders available if foreseeably necessary. Dj + Client maintain sufficient personal injury/property insurance for Venue sufficient to cover foreseeable claims.

8. Interpretation. The agreement will be interpreted according to the laws of Colorado. 

The below-signed Client warrants s/he/they has authority to represent the individuals involved in the event and will uphold the details of this contract. The below signed Dj warrants he has authority to act as Dj + Host and will uphold the details of this contract (above).
