This is a gift to Selena and her fans,
a collection of 10 remixes of some
of my favorite sel tracks.

During her short 23 years of life, Selena showed the world that she could comfortably step into many genres, not limited to just her famous cumbias and tex-mex style that she will forever be rememered for. This album is a creative imagining of just how far
Selena’s talents could GO.

SELENA’s talent was ENDLESS.

Before 1995, when her life was ended, she was already on her way to a whole new level of success, and in time, she would have been working with the best producers in the industry, the most influential songwriters of our time. It’s not hard to imagine how her music would’ve impacted the music industry.

I used this idea to push the sound of some of her classic songs into new realms of creativity. Although some of these vocals are 20+ years old now, her voice will forever sound fresh and current and on this project, you get to hear that power-house voice alongside house beats, dance synths, pop beats, and rock sounds mostly from the 90s and even a duet with vocals recorded in the 1940s.

I wanted to give Selena the Main-Girl attention she deserved. Just imagine, much like I did, if Selena worked with the producers that created “Rhythm Nation”…

The tracklist includes both iconic Selena songs as well as a few lesser-known deep tracks and fan favorites with a few unexpected surprises and unique duets.
