Two unique musicians join creative forces for a night of music, ambiance and entertainment. Buddy Bravo + Vio the Violinist present a memorable set-list made up of pop, jazz, blues, and dance music, with carefully curated songs done in unique arrangements for piano and violin. The two transform any venue into a warm candle lit performance space with romantic ambience and creative energy. Buddy and Vio are often accompanied by special guest vocalists, musicians and visual artists from around the city, bringing together different communities for a one-of-a-kind evening of art and music.

Armed with ambition and natural talent, Vio is a self-taught violinist specializing in, but not limited to, Hip-Hop and Dubstep music. He pushes through the limits of how the violin is typically seen and heard. He takes the violin out of the orchestra and puts it next to the DJ booth. "Violin is more than just a classical instrument." He has taken this concept to the Denver Ted Talk stage, and recently finished a seasonal residency at Tracks Nightclub. Vio can be found around the state performing his unique blend of genres on a regular basis.

Buddy Bravo is best known around Denver as a DJ and party producer, creating queer social events and providing music and vibes to the community. Although he is now a well-known DJ, it’s at the piano that you can truly hear Buddy’s eclectic and creative taste. His introduction to music and performance first came in the form of the piano. Playing 90% by ear, Buddy plays with a unique blend of jazz, blues and ragtime. Buddy’s DJ sets can be heard multiple times a week throughout the Denver area in nightclubs, restaurants, brunch spots, and dance floors.

Together, Buddy and Vio have arranged their own versions of songs that span genres and musical eras. These songs have been transformed from the ground up for both piano and violin, with each musician’s style on display.
